Should bin this tournament and focus on the league.

Getting turned over by Forest is unacceptable.

I quite like the look of that, Miike.

However, I’d rest Zouma and this might be a decent opportunity to get Ogbonna back in the side.

Would also have Antonio on the bench. He might come in handy coming on with 20 mins to go against tiring Danish legs.

I'd put our strongest side out, whatever that is and then make subs if we have a comfortable lead. I don't think we can risk fucking about too much with the team as we have the potential to go a long way in this competition.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Viborg FF - Official Match Thread - Review
I think I'm with you on that, NJ, whatever our strongest team is at the moment.

I've seen people say they're worried about Brighton at the weekend, disregarding this bunch of part timers.

Strongest team . Win comfortably. Rest players and experiment in second leg.

Cornet / scamacca / Bowen please

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Viborg FF - Official Match Thread - Review
IMO this tournament keeps our whole season bubbling, with a genuine chance of winning it. We cannot fuck this up.

As for the team, I'll leave that to the ditherer.

Morning Charley
Morning all

I agree we need a strong team to get a get a good win for the return match. Getting to the groups should be highest priority, no messing about, please!

I’d drop Soucek, just not good enough. Also Bowen, who has contributed nothing past 2 games, perhaps that’ll help him find some form.

Areola
Coufal Dawson Zouma Cresswell
Antonio Fornals Rice Cornet
Scamacca Benramha

Cresswell out as well after getting himself sent off in the semi.

Re: ⚽ West Ham v Viborg FF - Official Match Thread - Review
Should be a formality, but we will see. We have fucked up more 'simple' cup ties than i care to remember like this before, but two legs should play in our favour if we lay an egg in one of the games.

Be interesting to see if he starts Downes or Lanzini in Rice's position.

I can see Scamacca and Antonio, Bowen and Cornet each getting 45 mins. Just hoping for no injuries and a decent lead going into the second game, really.

El Scorchio 1:11 Mon Aug 15
Re: ⚽ West Ham v Viborg FF - Official Match Thread - Review
I think Zouma is playing with an injury. But we don;t really have any choice at the moment as our incredible run of bad fortune with centre backs staying fit continues.
